SymbolsPanel Builder was released

Since the first release of SymbolsPanel, it can added new symbols yourself. But it takes a great effort because it must be done one by one (especially when you want to add many symbols, like all cyrillic.) To reduce that effort, in first, I tried to design new "Range-specify" format. But I could not find one which was satisfied my request. One day, I conceived "Try to make a builder app! It would be better than continue pondering." Then I started to make this app, with effort...

The point that should explain most is what be specified to add symbols. A code that will be specified into Range must be Unicode. To find out code in Unicode of symbols you want to add, "Code Chart in the site of The Unicode Consortium" may be useful. Also you can use "Character Map" tool on PC. However, there is another issue whether those symbols can be displayed on Android...

記号パネルデータ生成 公開

記号パネルは最初のバージョンからユーザが新たに記号を登録できるようにしてあります。ただ、ひと文字ずつ追加することになるので、例えば「キリル文字を全部追加したい」という場合などには手間がかかります。これを解消するために、最初は「設定ファイルで範囲指定を可能にする」とか考えてたんですが、しっくりくる指定方法がどうも思い浮かばない。で、あるとき「設定ファイルのフォーマットをいじるより、従来のフォーマットで指定範囲の設定データを自動的に生成するアプリを作ってしまえば悩まずにすむ！」と思いついて、このアプリを作り始めてしまいました。確かに指定方法で悩むことはなくなりましたが、見た目以上の手間がかかってます…

このアプリでいちばん説明が必要なのは「何を指定すればどんな記号が追加されるのか」という点でしょう。文字列指定の方は入力した文字がそのまま追加されるのでいいとして、問題は範囲指定です。マーケットの説明文で例をいくつか挙げましたが、それらはUnicodeで規定されている文字コードです。つまり、追加したい記号のUnicodeを調べて(wikipediaやPCの「文字マップ」「文字コード表」などで確認できます)、それを指定すればいいわけです。もちろん、それが表示可能かどうかは別の問題としてあるのですが。
